Our history

The earliest records of the estate date back to 1600, when Baroque flourished in Salento. The capital of Salento, Lecce, is well known in every part of the world as the "Capital of Baroque", with its refined architectural testimonies.

Closer to the present day, the company has belonged to the Troilo family, then to Ammazzalorsa family, and in the end it went to the Bruni family. In 1903 the last descendant of the Ammazzalorsa family, Michele, married Serafina Troilo in Taranto and, in the second half of the 1900’s he left his possessions to his foster child Enrico Bruni.

Today, the Vetrère company is led by Annamaria and Francesca, the Bruni sisters, who have taken over the farm with dedication and passion. The route is traced by the long history of the company: mixing the value of a centuries-old tradition with the curiosity for all that is innovative, in the name of quality.
